A Message from the Minister
It gives me great pleasure to introduce to you the Employment Experiences and Earnings of Recent Graduates, 1999 - College of the North Atlantic - Private Colleges. The report is designed to address the growing need for high quality labour market information in support of career and program planning. It is my hope that students, educators and career counsellors will use this report to help inform decisions about options for postsecondary study. I believe the report will also assist program planners in identifying programs that produce graduates with the skills required by employers in today's dynamic labour market.
This publication is an example of government’s commitment to ensuring accountability in postsecondary education in the Province. It provides detailed program-level information on graduate employment, earnings, out-migration, student loans and length of job search, and describes graduates’ opinions of their investment of time and money in their program.
It is my sincere wish that Employment Experiences and Earnings of Recent Graduates, 1999 - College of the North Atlantic - Private Colleges will become a trusted source of information for all those with an interest in graduate outcomes in today’s dynamic labour market.
