Table 9 shows the level of out-migration of Memorial and Marine graduates based on graduates’ current provinces of residence as of late summer 1997 when the survey was conducted. Medical Doctors, Marine Diploma and Marine Advanced Diploma graduates showed the highest level of out-migration at rates of approximately 40% and higher. In contrast, Memorial Master’s, Diploma, Certificates and Marine Certificates graduates had lower levels of out-migration at 16% or lower, while Memorial Bachelor’s and Honours graduates had similar rates of out-migration at approximately 20%.
