English Second Language

ESL programs are intended for students of non-Canadian origin who are
unable to benefit fully from regular classroom instruction because of a
lack of comprehension of or facility with the English language. The intent
of this type of program is to enable these students to develop the necessary
English language skills to function adequately in school and in the community.
