Health/ Neurological/ Related Disorders

Included in this group would be children who have Pervasive Developmental Disorders (including Autistic Disorder, Asperger's Disorder, Childhood Disintegrative Disorder, Rett's Syndrome, and Pervasive Developmental Disorder Not Otherwise Specified); health impairments, which affect growth, development and/or learning such as Diabetes, Cancer, Asthma; and neurological disorders such as Myasthenia, Seizure Disorders, Fetal Alcohol Syndrome/Effect. The list above is not comprehensive.

Children who have mild, moderate or severe health impairments, neurological disorders or other related conditions which interfere with growth, development and/or learning should receive special education services.
